Under 18 (JOL – Junior Operator’s License)

You must be 16 years of age or older to take our courses. You must have our waiver forms and statement of understanding signed by your parent/legal guardian in front of our instructor. Please make sure one of your parents/legal guardians will show up with you at the beginning of riding session.

By Massachusetts Law and Regulations, under 18 (JOL – Junior Operator’s License) must complete both our MSF Basic RiderCourse and Driver’s Education (Drivers Ed) class to obtain Class M License. We recommend obtaining Class M Permit before taking our MSF Basic RiderCourse.

Timing is very important. We recommend complete your Driver’s Education (Drivers Ed) before taking our MSF Basic RiderCourse. If you have not completed your Driver’s Education (Drivers Ed), you should plan to complete it within 90 days of your MSF Basic RiderCourse’s completion date.
